I'm 33 years old as of February. By the end of last year, I weighed exactly 324 pounds when I saw my doctor about reducing my weight and he mentioned excercise. I started running last year and developed what are called "shin-splints", but my doctor said it would pass. Well, last week I broke my foot, most likely from the stress and now I'm stuck either sitting or standing all day long.
I had a hard time not eating chips and things even while I was running and now I crave them all day. I know I won't be able to run for at least five more weeks.
