Iconic Macau Dessert - "Sawdust Fresh Cream Cake" Serradura (Sawdust Pudding) (木糠布丁) has resurfaced at the new Silver Bay Cafe Richmond Hill

GREAT NEWS!!!

The chef/owner of the now closed ' Macau food stall ' inside the food court of Peach tree Plaza on Kennedy has now ' RESURFACED'!!

https://www.chowhound.com/…/toronto-s...

As one of the head chefs in Macau's 5* hotel 'The Mandarin Oriental,' this chef used to churn out some delicious, authentic and iconic Portuguese dishes....Portuguese baked chicken rice, African Chicken, Bacalhau salt cod dishes...etc. in his now defunct store. However, to me the stand out was his creation of the iconic and uber-delicious 'Sawdust Fresh cream Cake'.

To my total surprise, it is now available in the newly opened Hong Kong/Macau style food - ' SILVER BAY CAFE ' on 9665 Bayview Avenue across from Yang's. At only $5.00 for this mega-piece, IMO it is a steal!

I cannot wait to revisit the place and try out some Sino-Macau Portuguese fare!!
