Hungarian Bakery Item

Hilary | Mar 17, 2003 03:36 PM

I have been trying to locate a Hungarian Bakery item for my mother-in-law. It looks like a scone or tea biscuit. It does not have raisins in it. It is called a "pagache", most likely spelled wrong. I live in Nassau County. She used to get it in a bakery near her, but it is no longer there. Can anyone help me with this, I would love to surprise her. I tried a kosher bakery, they never heard of it. I am told by my mother-in-law that only a Hungarian Bakery would have this. SOS, thanks.
