We made a "final pilgrimage" to Felix's last night, only to find out from employees that they had been told Friday morning that the restaurant is no longer closing! It was packed (when was the last time we had to wait for 30 minutes for a table there?), and everyone seemed to be in high spirits about the decision to stay open.
It was so crowded they resorted to paper napkins and the waiters were having to dry silverware as they set place settings. The margaritas weren't quite frozen, but the food was as good as it's been in the last five years, in spite of the crowds. We'll be back again soon!
