Hooters Wings Vs Connecticut Yankee

I enjoyed the lively discourse about the political implications of scantily clad ladies serving wings and the posible snobbishness of the board. I feel it is more an appreciation of the best rather than disdain for the mundane...

Anyway, I became bored and stopped reading before I was able to see if anyone had actually posted a review of the wings.

IMHO, they are ok. They are closer to fried chicken with a kind of breadish coating. The regular spice ones are sweet and the hot ones are really not hot enough to qualify for "3 mile island" or whatever they call them. The rest of the food is quite marginal, and I don't think it's at all worth the trip. The in and out burger next door is much better if you are looking for that yummy fast food experience.

The best wings I've had are at Connecticut Yankee in Potrero Hill. They also have a better wine selection and great Key Lime Pie!
