When I called to reserve a quiet table at Mr. Broadway I was impressed with the honesty and consideration of the hostess. She explained that at lunchtime the restaurant was packed with people in one large room, and that there were no quiet tables. Someday I would like to try this, on my own maybe, when quiet isn't so crucial.
So, I called Abigaels, where Mary, another gracious hostess is reserving the quietest table in the smaller room for our party of 6 , even though she said that their restaurant was definitely on the quiet side all the time. The menu was interesting; I'm looking forward to this, and will report back to you.
