Home-Made Turnip Cake at Mix Bakery

Okay, don't know if ALL bakeries in Chinatown have this labor-intensive treat for New Years, but Mix Bakery has big, pie-plates full of turnip cake for $6.50; you get enough to put your whole family in Dim Sum heaven! Either fry it in squares, like they do on the dim sum carts, or cut it in little squares, pan fry til crisp, then top with beaten eggs...Turns it over to get the other side, and then top with Chili sauce...This is as good as Home-cooked brunch, or lunch, or anything gets...

Anyone who read the posts on the General Topics Board a few week ago knows what a PIA it is to make this stuff. You can get it packaged at Super 88, but I've never seen it fresh!

It contained sausage, but I would have still bought it, and picked out the meat-bits, if I didn't have to run to an appointment..I'll be back later this weekend..I'm sure it's time sensitive, so if you wannah get it, GO NOW!!!
