Holy Cow Kosher Beef Jerky KFP

I have to do some unexpected travel this Chol Ha Moed (three hour flight-two hour meeting at airport club-three hour flight back), so I ran into my localk Stop and Shop this morning to see if there was any appropriate travel pesach food (not candy or junk). I love beef jerky and make my own during the year, but have never bothered with a Pesach food dehydrator.

I ran into packages of Holy Cow KFP O-U Glatt Beef Jerkey Original Flavor 2.12 ounce size marked down from $6.99 to $3 so I took 6 bags.

Had two bags for lunch at the meeting. Although black pepper is the last otem in the ingredient list, the only flavor the jerky had was of the black pepper and it was overpowering. I've already had 3 bottles of water since lunch and some hard candy.

Is this product always so peppery (chomasdiche)?
