Back in February, there was a post about 'killer calimari rings' at the Hollywood Farmers Market. We made the treck up there from Anaheim today for a load of greasy rings!
I don't know if we were at the same vendor as the Feb. poster, there was only one vendor cooking fish today. The calimari was not much, other than greasy. Over cooked and rubbery.
On the other hand, there were a lot of varied and fresh vege vendors, so the day was still a success.
Suprisingly, there was an absence of the local Holltwood nut-buckets and other vari-colored wirdos; but then the sun was shining!
