Dropped in here last Saturday night on a whim. It's on Hollywood Blvd. near Thai Town. I'd noticed it while I was browsing for late night spots on Citysearch. This place is a winner. They serve what they refer to as "colletive Asian" cuisine. We started with an ahi tuna poke - which is as good as anything that I've had in Hawaii. They actually (or claim to) use Hawaiian sea salt. The saboro rice with chicken - also delicious. NY steak skewers. Fried red onion strings. Garlic noodles. All good. The owner (an extraordinaly friendly fellow by the name of Peter) came out and explained the cooking techniques, ingredients, and origins of the dishes. Really, a fantastic dining experience. My only dislike -- the place was empty. I hate it when great restaurants like this are empty on Saturday night and teflons like Dolce are packed to the rafters. I'm already planning to go back -- hopefully, it'll be around for a while and some other Chowhounds will take notice. Cheers!
