went there the other night, been once before. great cowboy steakhouse atmosphere. steaks are swell, not the best in the world, but as a whole w/ all the sides including the shrimp cocktail thats straight out of the 50s its some really good stuff. oh, and those fries are pretty amazing supposedly they fry em twice in rendered beef suet. mmm, beef suet. the desserts are a little lackluster, but tried the cheesecake which for the most part was really good.
a couple questions, has anyone tried the burger and fries at the bar? also, is it any good? one would think that it would be good, but then again maybe you only have to stick to the steaks.
oh, and the 2003 pinot noir highliner hitching post was pretty nice.
also, the surroundings are pretty laid-back for a restaurant of this caliber.
