I've got smallish turkey, and I'm planning on sticking it in the slow cooker tomorrow with garlic and red wine and rosemary. I went looking on the internet for cooking times and couldn't find aything about cooking a whole one in the crock pot. I'm thinking about just leaving it for ten hours or so- it doesn't have to be pretty, I'm planning on taking it apart and freezing the meat in chunks, and making kick-ass turkey soup on Wednesday.
Has anyone else done this, and how long did you cook it for? Mine's about 12lbs.
