My boss has an "important" lunch coming up and asked for suggestions on a high-end restaurant in Mountain View or even Sunnyvale (can't go far due to time constraints). He was originally planning on Xhan, the new Vietnamese restaurant on Castro. He likes their food, but said the tables are small and the ambiance too casual for what he had in mind for the lunch meeting.
He's already turned down Cascal and Cantankerous Fish. How's Il Postale in Sunnyvale? I've never been but heard good things. Is it appropriate w/ good ambiance for a business lunch?
Lion and Compass in Sunnyvale is an option since it's close, but any other suggestions? He can be pretty particular about restaurants, which makes this a little difficult.
To give an idea of his taste... these are restaurants I know he likes... Tamarine, Bistro Elan, The Village Pub, Shiva's Indian Restaurant, Boulevard
Your help is appreciated! :)
