first, i would like to say thanks to all the hounds i met today at young's cafe--good to put faces with names.
second, i have a request. i am looking for a restaurant that could accomodate about fifteen people for a business dinner. the place should preferably be on the livelier side, but a sedate venue is still acceptable. i am looking for the high end (ah, sweet company dinners). to give you an idea, we are considering gary danko (but the room is too small), boulevard, jardiniere, and michael mina.
any other ideas? i was thinking chez panisse, but i think the room is too small, and the group may want to stay in sf.
what is going on with campton place, charles nob hill, and masa's? there seems to be a shuffle of chefs at these places . . .
thanks for your help.
