Yesterday I had a chance since i was in the area to stop & have lunch at the Hickory Hog BBQ restaurant in Point Pleasant on Rt 88. At first glance a nice clean lively decorated space.......I was greeted by the friendly owner & waitress. After perusing the menu & specials I decided to have a Carolina Pulled pork wrap w/ Sweet Potato fries. Nice service also as my lunch came out looked very nice on the plate....the grilled wrap was loaded with smoky pulled pork & coleslaw inside....on the table was their signature BBQ sauce which really added a nice tang to my meal. What caught my eye were the extra crisp sweet potato fries which were excellent & cooked just right, a big kosher pickle I was in heaven & full. As i read the rest of the menu it would take me a few times to return & try all the different style ribs & BBQ specialties for sure. If you get a chance check it out.
