Has anyone heard of Lodge's heat treated/enhanced cast iron?
Apparently they've a patented heat treating process that inhibits rust and the picture on this page shows the cast iron pans in a dishwasher. Another article claims "After extensive testing, including over 100 cycles through commercial dishwashers there was little or no evidence of rust. " 
IMHO DWability was never a huge issue with my cast iron pans so I don't plan on getting these, but I am curious how well does this heat process work? Also wouldn't dishwashing remove the layer of seasoning which is one of the more desirable attributes of these pans?
