Chowhounds should enjoy some of the food-related essays by humorist David Sedaris. Like Garrison Keillor's work, Sedaris' is best in audiobook form. From "Naked": Get Yer Ya-Yas Out". From "Me Talk Pretty One Day": Make That a Double, Today's Special, I'll Eat What He's Wearing". There are probably more that don't come to mind immediately, and I haven't yet gotten his just-released "When You Are Engulfed in Flames" - although from his recent New Yorker stories, which are part of this book, I would say that his previous material is better than the most recent stuff.
