Griffin, GA southern buffet

A week ago, as we began our trip to Florida, we took a different route through the metro Atlanta area, and found a new place for lunch that day. Tim's Country Cookin', 1426 W Taylor St (Ga. 16), Market Square Center. Tim's is on the west side of downtown Griffin and offered a $7.95 buffet which included country ham, fried chicken livers, fried chicken, beef, collards, black eyed peas, corn, sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, green beans, biscuits, jell-o, banana pudding and a chocolate layered desert which was delicious. There were several more items. I can't even remember all that I tried. Drinks are included in the price. You may also pay by the item - which would only be for those who wanted a very small meal. Monday-Friday they have a breakfast buffet for $4.50, also. I thoroughly enjoyed every item I chose. My wife's only complaint was that several of the dishes should have been warmer, although a couple of items were too hot for me to eat when I first got them.
