Green Tea and winter comfort downtown?

Call me a hipster, but Paul's Boutique used to be one of my favorite places for this time of year. It was so nice to go in and have one of their yummy sandwiches and a nice big cup of loose leaf green tea with that toasted rice stuff floating around in it. Unfortunately, along with Starbucks opening on Delancey and the various other losses the LES is sustaining lately, Paul's Boutique is now serving wimpy bagged green tea. It's just not the same. sooo... anybody have any rec's of where I could get this rice-y kind of green tea in a comfy downtown place where I could get some food and read a book or something? thanks!
