I was roasting a chicken lasy night and had picked up some frozen frenched green beans to have along side and was looking for something new to do with them. I went to Epicurious of course, and there was a recipe for green beans with toasted pin nuts and lemon. I toasted my pine nute until they were a deep golden color, nuked the bans for 3 minutes, added 1 Tbs. butter and two drops of Boyajian Lemon oil on top of the butter, back into the microwave for a minute and stir. Sprinkle with the pine nuts and a dash of salt. They were delicious and light with a nice bright citrus sparkle. They may get added to my turkey day menu.
