Greek Corner Yonkers

Sad place. Went for lunch yesterday. Hardly a person there. Greek Corner took over from some fish restaurant (Rusty Scupper?) and apparently did little more than paint over the awning (barely - you could see a vestigial reference to seafood). The place needed a good paint job, and a cleaning of the entire plant, including the bathroom, would not be amiss.

All of which could be forgiven if the food was good. It wasn't. Sad, flavorless falafel, pedestrian eggplant salad, vegetable stew that was a tiresome sludge of potatoes and zuchini in tomato sauce, and some gigante white beans, also in tomato sauce, overly redolent of dill and nothing else. Tadziki taditzappointing.

No complexity to the food, no appeal to the dining room, no reason to return.
