With the help of the Chowhounds, my husband and I have planned our "no kids eat like crazy food tour of New York" , but we still have one critical meal to plan: Friday Night.
We were hoping for Gramercy Tavern, but couldn't get a reservation, so we are back at square one. Our only requirement is that it is a great New York experience. We don't care if it is dressy or expensive or cheap or whatever. We just want something you can't get in Los Angeles.
Thursday ngiht we will be at Piccolo Angolo, so we would prefer no Italian. We can also skip sushi, since LA has it's share of amazing sushi. Any thoughts on Per Se? (Could we even get in?) It also sounds like there are a bunch of tapas/wine bars that could be fun. We are adventurous and LOVE NEW YORK!!!
Give us your best ideas and we will report back!
