I posted about this place a week or so back, and didn't get any responses, which is fine, but I went back yesterday and happened to chat with the owner.
Sadly, although the place is only two months old, business is very slow. They deserve better.
These are the best tacos I have found anywhere on the westside of L.A., let alone in the valley. They have tongue, chorizo, carnitas, etc. all of which are the best examples of their type.
Everything but the canned jalapenos is made on premises. And, their salsas are great.
The place is also dirt cheap; $1.40 per taco. $4.00 for huevos rancheros. Three tacos, rice and beans, medium drink special $4.55.
Taqueria Tapatios in Tarzana. Approximate address is 18713 Ventura Blvd.
They deserve more business. Stop by for a snack or a meal, 9 to 9, daily.
