It's my Dad's 75th birthday and a dozen of us are looking for a spectacular high-end restaurant for the affair. Spago's tasting menu seemed the best option...incredible food, memorable atmosphere, great presentation...until I realized there are a couple of kids in the party (albeit older and well-behaved) that probably wouldn't go for the frogs legs and foie gras.
Any ideas? Is Chinois just a shadow of its former self? You only turn 75 once, and I really want this to be an unforgettable evening for him.
