Great Lunch at Denver's Domo

ClaireWalter | Jan 4, 200810:19 AM

For reasons that I can't explain now that I've been there, I had never before eaten at Domo. Odd location (just south of Colfax, next to light rail, across from a low-cost housing project). Odd building (looks like a factory or warehouse, but in fact, also houses a museum of Japanese artifacts and an akido academy). Unusual menu (no sushi bar, no salt pepper, extra soy sauce or wasabi allowed). Fantastic interior (styled like a real country inn in northern Japan). Exquisite food -- and a bargain at lunch, w/ most dishes under $10. Recommended. Recommended. Recommended.
