Hello! Traveling with one teen to Jerusalem very soon for our first time and we are very excited. Our dining budget is around $100 USD per day. We are not looking to dine in upscale restaurants and we are happy to have simple, delicious and fresh food and immerse ourselves into the local culture. It doesn't have to be kosher. We love to try all types of food!
I would appreciate recommendations for the following:
- favorite breakfast cafe/ restaurant with GREAT coffee
- a good spots to get inexpensive falafel and shwarma
- really good makluba, kube soup and madjura rice
