GREAT homemade Lebanese chow in Sunnyside

EmmyMac | Sep 27, 201107:26 PM

There are really, if you ask me, only a few places worth frequent visits in Sunnyside. I love these places and want to send some new customers their way!

Habibi, 4302 43rd (get off the 7 at 40th St). I mention this place first since I really think that it is the better one. Everything is awesome and very reasonably priced. The kibbeh and falafel sandwiches are great. Try the stuffed "pies" (like calzones, but better)....spinach and cheese, chicken, etc.

El-Shatar. between 43rd and 44th on the north side of Queens Blvd. They have alot of the same things, but have just added a great mixed grill on rice with lamb and shish kebob

Furthermore, these businesses are family run and local!!!
