We recently had dinner at the Pampered Palate in Pasadena. We were pleased to find the service had become much more professional since our last visit. There is no improving on the food - its already great! This restuarant is off the beaten track but well worth the effort to find it. It is a small place just getting started. The chef definitely knows his way around the kitchen. The menu is a little eclectic ranging from a traditional filet mignon potato mushroom tower to surf and turf and Maryland accented offerings. One of the more intersting selections is a spicy Berber mixed grill that had duck, skewered beef and salmon along with chick peas, rice, and acorn squash, accented by half an avocodo and thinly sliced cucumber. It was worth the trip all by itself. Its only a mile off of Route 100.
