Caffe Italia on Deer Park Avenue (across the street from Dunkin' Donuts and Starb*cks) in Deer Park makes great espresso. I just found out that you can get it with anisette (or sambuca depending on what they have that day). The Italian way of drinking espresso is to down the whole thing in one or two gulps. Then if you want more, you order another. That's how I enjoy it when I drink it here, because it seems like the right thing to do. The anisette helps cool it to a not so scalding temperature.
