Looking for great Chinese food

Em | Dec 1, 2004 11:08 PM

I'm in the East Brunswick, NJ area and I can't find any halfway decent Chinese take out/sit down restaurants around here. Most of them are all buffet now, not that there's anything wrong with that, but is it just me, or is Chinese food not what it used to be? I remember some really great Chinese restaurants years ago that are no longer there, and now it's mostly all mediocre, if not extremely disappointing or inedible. Sad to say, but the best I have found so far is at a grocery chain store called Wegman's in Freehold which has an excellent Chinese Wokery station where you can either take out or eat in. The food there is so fresh and actually has flavor. Most of the take out we have around here is either tasteless or too greasy to even consider putting in my mouth. Any suggestions?
