We just returned from a lovely trip to Sicily, and I'm looking for some recipes or ideas for using some of the local local products we brought home. We have 2 pieces of fish--I'm pretty sure they are 2 different types of tuna, but not sure about that even. One is light and the other a darker red and they were dried somewhat, I think, sort of like how a small ham would look like in a deli. We were served a piece of the light fish sliced paper thin that had been marinating in oil and it was marvelous.
We also bought 2 sizes of salted capers and a jar of pistachio pesto, along with some of the local handmade pasta, and a jar of anchovies.
Obviously not looking to put everything into one dish, but any suggestions would be mighty welcome!
