Any suggestions for a mid price restaurant, East Side, 14th through 50s, where the staff/manager/owner treat even first time diners like they were family? I am looking for real caring and at least good food without paying oodles of money. Oh, I get treated wonderfully at haute cuisine spots since I am dropping a lot of bucks. But is there someplace you know where I can get solid food and more. Maybe a family run place? And not someplace that I have to invest many many times so they maybe recall that I have eaten there before? Any cuisine will do. Does this exist? TIA.
