Good roasting pan for my ridiculously small oven

marcia | Nov 9, 200511:39 AM     8

I only have 1 oven. It's a gas wall oven and front to back I have just 17 inches. It's only about 17" wide, also. It makes me insane and I can't wait to redo the kitchen, but in the meantime, I need to cook.

I want a decent roasting pan. The big suggestions from Cook's Illustrated (All-Clad lasagna, Calphalon Contemporary Stainless roasting pan and Granite Ware roasting pan) are all too long when you take the handles into account.

Does anyone happen to know of a decent roasting pan that's max 17" in length, including the handles?

I know this will be a smallish pan and limit the size turkey I can make, but that's ok.

And why oh why oh why did GE make their wall oven so damn shallow?
