When I was in Portland, OR this last summer - where I lived for fifteen years in a previous life - I went to a trailer in the parking lot of a former Japanese restaurant. The trailer was called "Los Tres Hermanos Brothers." I ordered a burrito for 3.00 and received an absolutely fantastic combination of cilantro, chili paste, chicken, rice, lime and cheese - I mean unbelievably good. The flavors just jumped in your mouth. With a beer, I was the happiest man in a ten block radius.
Where, NY, do you have such luxuries? Mexican food of any type other than seriously bastardized, and overpriced, eludes me. Please, please help.
