I could not believe how good my meal at La Fritte was the other night

I ordered and shared with my dinner companion the french onion soup, which was not salty – very rich broth – just yummy, L’ Express salad – spinach, bacon, avo and chicken – a nice big fresh salad, a new york steak (peppercorn sauce) with fries, veggies were green beans and carrots – cooked perfectly and the best garlic bread that is available in LA. The wine list sucks, but there is lots to choose from for < $ 25.00 – had the red cadet for $18.50, pretty drinkable. A really tasty experience for around $ 60.00. I guess I should not be surprised, they must be doing something right to hang around for over 30 years.
