Good Japanese in Indianapolis

PamR | May 21, 200301:29 PM

Just wanted to share a terrific experience we had this weekend at Asaka in Indianapolis. There was a delay in taking our order -- the waitress was highly apologetic, and brought us two appetizers on the house. Both were wonderful -- deep fried tofu in a rich vegetable sauce and steamed, salted soybeans. Our sushi combo dinners were quite good, but these appetizers were incredible. Next time, I will choose several items off the appetizer menu! The restaurant is on E 82nd in Castleton, next to (shudder) Hooters. I highly recommend it for authentic Japanese food.
