Looking for good DC area eats

D.J. Schreffler | Sep 27, 2004 12:14 AM

Heading to DC area (staying in Gaithersburg, often in Silver Spring/Wheaton area) for my cousin's wedding, and will be there (without dinner plans) from 10/10-10/15. Looking at previous threads here, it looks like the following are good and recommended: Kinkead's, Sam & Harry's, Obelisk, Full Kee

Others came up, just not as often, or mith mixed results: 1789, Maestro, Jaleo, Occidental Grill, Citronelle, Season's

Another that I know of, but don't know how it compares to these others is Mrs. K's Toll House.

Touching base to see if these are still good, or if there's any must-eats out there.

Looking for the $50/person or less range in general, except for one night when I really want to take my wife out to dine, in which case price isn't as important, but food quality and atmosphere must be exquisite.

Thanks in advance for the help!
