I need to find a cafe for a heart-to-heart talk. It's been so long since my requirements for a cafe weren't simply "loud enough to mask toddler noises" and "has coffee" that I don't remember where adults go anymore.
It needs to be about halfway between Ocean Ave. and the Inner Sunset, preferably someplace with access to the 1 or the 280. It should have decent food and coffee, and be loud enough that we don't feel like people are listening to our conversation, but quiet enough that we can hear each other. Places where lingering indefinitely is accepted or encouraged are a plus.
I usually choose The Canvas for these types of things, despite the fact that I don't like the food and I always feel ripped off, so hopefully someone's suggestion may become my new hangout, with or without my rugrats.
