Had lunch here yesterday after an absence measured in years rather than months. Basic pho tai (#5) was terrific -- flavorful, non-greasy broth and lean tender slices of beef (though not served with a lime or lemon wedge, which I missed having -- I should have asked for one). The bowl was smallish, but filled mostly with noodles and meat; I actually finished all the broth as well, since it wasn't an overwhelming amount. My friend and I also split an order of imperial rolls, which were stellar. Lots of filling; came with shredded pickled carrots and radish plus slightly overcooked rice noodles. Did not come with very many lettuce leaves for wrapping. Dipping sauce was very good (with additional shredded carrots). My friend had the special pho, which came in a larger bowl and had tripe, beef balls and some other things in addition to the sliced beef. With his iced coffee and my fresh lemonade, total with tax (but before tip) came to $21-something.
