Gluten free baked goods available in Providence!

I stopped in at the newish Hudson Street Deli in the Armory District the other day and saw that they are carrying GF baked goods from a place called FreeFlour Bakehouse...apparently a locally owned GF bakery. Tried a brownie and a chocalate chip cookie and they were pretty tasty. Not dry or crumbly and good deep flavor. My BF swiped a bite of my brownie and said he could not tell the difference, so I guess it was pretty good!

They also offer GF bread and make any sandwich on it....tried a basic italian on the bread and thought it was one of the better GF breads I have tried...not the usual sawdusty crap available from Ener-G and Glutino. I asked the girl behind the counter and apparently you can order a whole loaf of the bread as well!

Prices were in line with GF products. 2.25 a cookie/brownie and a 1.25 extra on the sandwich.

Overall, defintiely pleased to see a good local GF option! I hope they get good support becasue it is so hard to find a quality GF product!
