Giordano Bros. All-in-One

Finally tried this place on Columbus (north of Broadway) for dinner tonight .. . . I'd figured I might not go for the all-in-one concept and would need to separate out the fries and cole slaw to eat them. BUT -- I'm a total convert. The balance of the sandwich, eaten together, is just great. I had the coppa, BF had cheesesteak -- and we each liked our individual sandwich so much that we split another, third one.

Limited menu, but with the right idea. They actually cut the potatoes for the fries in front of you once you've ordered. You can get sides of fries or the vinegar coleslaw -- which is tangy and has a delicious kick. Double meat is available for $2 extra. Our total bill with three sandwiches (one double meat) and a few sodas was $28 something.

Friendly service; sports on the various TVS around the place. They told us they were usually open until about 12:30 - 1:00 am. Definitely recommended.
