Had a dinner with 6 people + 2 bottles of Italian wine that was spendid at Gigi's with out of town guest. The lamb shank was falling off the bone and the pizza with goat cheese and figs and sliced pear was the best slice i have had so far since lil frankies down on 1st and 1st ave.
much better choice to be sitting in a noisy buzzing resturant than a quiet slow and mellow scene. For some reason, busy and noisy seems more alive than, quiet and reserved. We were originally going to go to Red hook but vetoed the idea for the Trendy and buzz appeal of GIGis but found the food, simply delightful!
