I'm hosting brunch in my unairconditioned apartment in a couple of weeks. I thought it would be nice to try to replicate one of those glorious breakfast buffets served in German hotels. However, it's been a few years since I visited Germany and I'm afraid that the memory is fading. I'm listing what I do remember below. Can anyone add or elaborate? (I'm happy to bake or cook, as long as it can be done the night before.)
