Key Lime Guy and others, thanks for the tip on Gerlach's. However, that being said, PLEASE know that it really is a "hole in the wall" as KLG said. In fact, it's only a takeout place attached to a liquor store on S. Fair Oaks. The food was good and reasonably priced, but it's best if you get it to go as there are only a couple of plastic tables and chairs outside. Good thing I went in the daytime, if I had ventured over there at night expecting a sit-down experience, I would have been very disconcerted. Especially, too, since I took the Gold Line and was not in my own car. So all Hounds, make sure to let everyone know all the details in advance. FYI, I had the scallop burrito (which wasn't on the menu but he made it for me) but it was with salsa, beans, rice, etc. inside, no cucumber sauce. My mom's lamb salad was very generous with the lamb and she brought some home, salad was excellent. Don't know if I would make a special trip over there again, but if you are in Pasadena area and don't want to do the highpriced cafes or chain restaurants, this is a definite option. Thanks again for the tip.
