Napoli Pastry started selling gelatti (imported from Naples) this afternoon.
While behind the the best gelato houses in Italy, they're still very very good. The flavours show a classic clarity and the consistency of the gelatti are spot on, smooth and creamy on the tongue. It's exactly what one would expect in Italy. I'm glad there's finally such a place in the Boston area.
Will post more details when I've sampled enough flavours. (Had a demurely attractive zitrone--gentle lemon and intricately bubbly whipped meringue-like texture--and an out-of-the classic-mold tiramisu.)
