For those with sweet tooth and love pancakes, this Japanese creation might just be the right treat for you.
After hearing so many thumbs-up review of the place, I finally decided to brave the potentially long line-up and 20+ minutes wait ( since every pancake was made from scratch! ) to give it a try. Arriving at around 3.00pm, we managed to grab the last available table. Every chatting and 'waiting' patrons indoor complied with strict social distancing and wore masks, up until the last second when they have to remove them to eat!
Fluffy, light and delivered to the table oozing with gorgeous egg and butter aroma. These not-too-sweet desserts were wonderful choices for a hearty and satisfying afternoon tea!
Our choices included:
- Iced Mango Latte drink
- Tiramisu Pancake with chocolate sauce ( the high-quality sauce
was wonderful!...so rich and complex )
- Regular Souffle Pancake ( way, way fluffier than your regular, run-
of-the-mill North American versions! ), served with real whipped
cream, butter and syrup
Overall, Fuwa Fuwa's offering were nicely crafted, artfully presented and enjoyable to eat from a 'pancake stand point'. However, as a dessert, my vote still goes to the EVEN lighter, more delicate and tastier, 'Cafe N' One' Souffle Pancake creation.
