Fun, festive, moderately-priced for "mature" bachelorette

DTK | Apr 3, 2003 10:12 AM

Hi, some friends & I are trying to plan a bachelorette party and are looking for a fun & festive place, not too expensive, for about 10 women on a Saturday night next month, preferably downtown. We're a bit older, so Lucky Chengs and the like are out. So are the uptown Italian family-style places. I thought about Blue Ribbon, but they are booked (I haven't called the Bakery, but I suppose that might end up to be too pricey). I looked through old posts on group dinners and saw some mention of Son Cubano, Agave, and Gonzo. I thought Frank or Supper might be fun, but they don't take reservations. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
