What a sad little sight, this lone business surrounded by piles of rubble and heavy equiptment. But they are plugging away, bless their hearts. I really hope they can move into their new space soon!
Being a terrible creature of habit, I enjoyed my usual hot pastrami on rye with mustard today. This place is really such a treasure (personally I can't think of an equal place in Boston!) and unfortunately I don't get there very often since its way out of my way (out of sight, out of mind).
However, I've been making a real effort to get there more regularly because they are hurting right now and I want to do my part to ensure they are able to ride this situation out.
So in case its not on your radar, here's another little reminder. Where else can you get corned beef, pastrami, brisket, chopped liver, tongue, knish, potatoe pancake? Maybe you're in the mood for turkey or meatloaf dinner, spaghetti and meatball, chicken soup, even pizza.
So run, don't walk, and enjoy!
