Was wondering this as tonight the way we'll do ours is with a breading of Lays Habanero potato chips mixed with Panko. The chicken is soaking up buttermilk right now.
So in the Cuisinart will go about 2 cups of the chips until they're pretty finely crumbed.
1/2 chips 1/2 panko.
Seasoned flour mixed with corn starch first, tap off excess, egg/buttermilk wash, then into crumb mixture, then on wire rack for half an hour, then into the fryer for about 20 minutes if the oil is @ 350*
Since we love fried chicken, can you share how you do yours. And secrets are always appreciated.
