Stopped by our favorite Wheaton Chinese place, New Kam Fong, 2400 University Boulevard West for a fix of "Fried Good Dale," Crispy Pig, Szechuan String Bean and Salt and Pepper Shrimp, and were concerned that this roomy place had few patrons (it was, admittedly, a rainy cold day).
Where oh where would we get Fried Good Dale if New Cam Fong doesn't stay open? Call to action of fellow chowhounders to visit New Kam Fong and keep this resource open.
What, you may ask, is Fried Good Dale? Sorta like Singapore noodles with the noodles on steroids -- wide and chewy, with bits of roast pork, shrimp, egg, green pepper and onion in a slightly curry stir fry (great with a splash of red vinegar that's on the table). As good as leftovers (which there always are given the huge portion) as fresh. Also hand-hacked Chinese barbeque, all yummy.
